Scared of Staph Infection?

I have a popped blister on my foot and now I'm freaking out bad about getting a fatal staph infection. I don't have any other health problems but I'm seriously scared to death of getting a staph from my blister. Should I go to the doctor to get the blister covered up? What should I do I'm freaking out!
