How do I handle my step children?

These are his kids and he should be looking after them. If he cannot do this, because of his work schedule, then he shouldn't have them staying with "you" for the summer. Also, don't agree with every thing he says. If you want to go to school now, go to school now. His kids have severe issues that makes caring for them difficult and if I were you, I wouldn't take this on myself.
